"Actor Lee Jun-ki faces a 500 million won ($500,000) lawsuit from his own management agency, Mentor Entertainment, against him and his manager identified as Lee for breaching his contract with the company.
Mentor Entertainment claims that the contract signed in May 2004 stipulates the actor must work exclusively for the next 5 years with Mentor. However, in the process of recently setting up his own management company with his manager, the 26-year-old movie star is accused of misappropriating 1 billion won (1 million USD) of funds, which Mentor insists should be theirs.
And of course, Lee Junki has refuted the allegation.
Lee Junki told the press that he had notified his previous management of canceling his contract back in February 2008.
The actor can face jail time of up to 6 months or pay up 500 million won in damages to the previous management."'
